Not sure how or why these originated, but I have a couple of lightly scratched areas on my windscreen.

Discovered them after a 100 mile loop this morning, which included New Haven, Cheshire, Waterbury, and Newtown CT.

Is there any way to get these out? Or is it time to just get used to them? Thanks in advance.

(BTW, ordered an X-screen Touring last night from Twisted Throttle. Time to dial the highway helmet buffeting down..)

Cee Baileys and Novus both have some very nice cream polishes. I've used both for removing minor scratches and tuning up the windshields!

Yeah I've used the Novus 3 step system in the past

Works on small scratches but not deep stuff

The place I bought a cruiser from a few years ago had the price painted on the windshield, and dumbass salesman proceeded to scrape off the paint with a razor......the Novus got a decent amount of the scratches off, but not everything.

::026:: Novus system works fairly well, but I have not yet found the solution that restores a gouging scratch on plastic to like-new condition. Worked OK on my reading glasses that got scuffed on the garage floor though.

The OEM screen on my previous Yamaha had a clear coat laminate layer. If you polished it too vigorously you were screwed. Don't think we have any clear coats here though.
