Well - Laddy's :

The Bev & I left Dull Moan, AahWuh yesterday @ 0600 and after stuffing some grub @ a Perkins

a block away from the HitchingPost - we saw the Blue baby.!!

Bev has all the pictures, so he'll post them soon. Let me just say - freekin' WOW-WUH.!!

Our friend the Great Arlendo (*Amain*) was there also...his wife's mom lives near there.

We stayed thee for 2 hours...and who shows up - but NoPork.!

He and his friend roll in to meet with US...they've already seen the scoot a coupla different times around the cities...

but they make a special trip to throw their hand into Bever's & mine. Nice nice fella's and very knowledgeable.

We jump with them for + hour then leave to have a lunch with one of Bev's local friends and get home (*255 miles*) by 6:20.

Great day and roadways were clear - so an event filled day.

THE BIKE :

I thought the fit & finish was equally on par with the BMW's that were parked near it. Very light--even with full tank of gas in it.

They started it up and the motor had zero vibes..none with wicking the mill up to 3500 rpm's. zero. nada.

Ergos were perf, nothing out of place.

It frankly was everything I thought it would be.

I'll post more later - I'm late.

If you haven't seen it - go and find one near you...it was deff worth the longish trip we took.

It's no longer just a dream, I have seen it with my own eyes, It realy does exist. You can believe all these pictures of other guys sitting on Super Teneres, I thought they must have been making them up in Photo shop. Really though, I was very impressed !!! The only thing I could see to want different was the small windshield, and I have a larger one on order. I checked out the panniers a lot and liked them very much. They are by far the best looking ones for that bike I have seen, and all that talk about being hard to use is nonsense. Swagger has been saying they are fine when you get used to them and from now on I'll believe everthing he says. [ well, maybe not everything] The bike sounds very good running to, No need for after market pipe for me. I,ll spend my money wearing out tires.

I video taped with sound the bike running so if any of you guys that live nearby want to come over, sit in front of the computer with our helmets on, and listen to it you are welcome to.

I also ran into Bigbore4 there and if you get a chance to meet this guy go out of your way to do it, He is real nice and a real ridder.

I also took my son to the Sand Box and got to see him ride, then took him with me back to see the Tenere and he was jealous { he has a Tiger 955i} He couldn't believe how light it feels so we looked in the tank to see if it was empty, it was brim full.

I'm very pleased to hear that you're impressed with the bike. It rides even better than it looks and feels. Now about you trusting my opinion .... you could regret that .... I wasn't blessed with much common sense and I really ain't too smart ::) .... I do know what I like though ;)

Wondered if I would find you here, It was nice meeting you guys as well, If I ever decide to make a civilized ride from Indy to Bonneville (in other words, more than 33 hours) I will be sure to ping you and stop for beerz on the way through. You are the first guys I have ever met from any of the forums I visit. Pleezedtameecha.

I went South St Paul to view the bike. Looked it over high and low. It was warm enough for a test drive, but they wouldn't let it out.
