Here you are some pics from new metallic brake lines.
My dealer decides to commercialize a hole setup to replace the OEM plastic lines, so he ordered some with the link on top of the front fender and others who are one in each side. I have these last ones. They worked very well. :clap

Can you feel the difference?
I only did a short off road trip with them. In this conditions I didn’t feel a big difference. Probably on road is going to be more evident. Hope to try it better this weekend and tell you.
I like them because they don’t have the line fixed on the front mudguard, a safer setup in off road use.

Nice clean set up. A word of caution though, you need to add some strain relief to the lower lines. One of my customers routed his lines as you have them, ignoring the oem bracket off the triple tree, and managed to create a leaking line at a junction during some off road riding. Considering how you ride, the lines off that Tee fitting will likely end up suffering a similar result unless you do something to support them so the vibration and impact forces from rough roads don't cause leaks or fracture the fittings. There is a reason the oem lines go to a strain relief bracket off that Tee junction before going down to the calipers.

This was on a two line kit with s/s braided lines, as you have. FWIW, none of my customers that followed the factory routing have had an issue and the lines are tested at 3000 psi before delivery.

Thanks Eric, I'm going to talk with the manufacturer about your comments. ::003::

Eric are the lines you sell custom or are they made by Galfer. The Galfer lines look like they use all the factory brackets. The complete set sells for around 300

The lines I was selling are custom. I had a hose company in Las Vegas make them up to my specs. I was only selling a two line kit that ran from the bottom of the triple tree to the calipers, replacing the swaged in junction block, the line running to the left caliper and the cross over line with two lines that ran from the junction block to each caliper. I included a new OEM short banjo bolt for the left caliper and new copper washers. I sold a handful of these kits for $110, but my margin was very small and I didn't feel it made sense for me to continue to sell them.

I'll have to check out the Galfer offering to see what it gives you for $300.

I asked to the manufacturer about your comment. He said there is a plastic to avoid the problem you said (marked in the picture).
My dealer uses this same manufacturer to the motocross racing bikes and said they work very well in very heavy conditions, apparently the know what they do….

Anyway, if there is a problem I'm sure I could tell you in some time…

As soon as I know the price I tell you.

Eric, could you post some pics of yours?

Duconce, are the Galfer lines like this or like the OEM with the line fixed to the front fender?

The galfer lines are mounted like the stock lines. If you go to Galfer brake lines Super Tenere they have photos, which looks like the stock setup. It may not work for your bike Jaime with a 21. Looks like the replace front and rear [4 lines], not sure if clutch is included. Clutch is included after checking, also think they modify lines to what you want

Hopefully no problem. Before my customer managed to get a leak, I would not of thought it an issue.

Eric, could you post some pics of yours?
