My sex drive isn't any higher now than it was in my 20-30s . . . . but it's definitely not any less. (regardless of all the propaganda/hype, don't get wrapped up in testosterone. The numbers don't tell the whole story)
Well said.

To me it's not really about the wants and needs, it's about just being more relaxed and open about where we are and having less need to rush. We've learned to prioritize separating the distractions from when we want to focus on each other.

How young do you have to be to think 37 is old?

No right or wrong about 37 and single. Just attended a wedding of my daughter's friend and she's 30. You're still young enough to attend the after hours party at that wedding and not feel like an ineffective chaperone like I did.

Enjoy being young, it doesn't last forever.

By 37 years old I don't mean, "old" I mean what an amazing time to be this age. I wouldn't want to attend a party since I don't like them. But it's amazing to be doing well for myself and not having to answer to anyone or following the norm. Agreed about the young part and I started feeling older at age 30 and I know it won't last for ever, which is why every moment at this age is precious.

So I've decided this page will be about men's issues/ experiences and it might include topics that might include y'all and might be offended (I don't care) so unfollow and unless admin(s) say otherwise will be the purpose of the page. It will include travel, food, health issues, thoughts, men's rights, sex, guns (of course), men's mental health. I don't want it to be political and if does I will request it to be deleted.

"Age" does not always equal "old"

I know plenty younger than me that are really older in how they live.

It boils down simply to this.
Is there anything you want to do but cannot or will not do because of your age? Short of the ability to enlist in the Armed Forces and grow a full head of hair, the answer is a resounding and honest NO for me. Actually quite the opposite really. I have more discretionary income and more free time so do things now I couldn't when younger, stay more active and have more and wider adventures and travel.

Only caveat is you cannot cheat mother nature. It does takes way longer for your body to heal with age. So keep both wheels on the ground.

Great idea. How about if we change the name of the thread to something reflecting that, such as "Men's issues and experiences" ?

Political posts will be nuked on site. Let us mods know if we don't catch them first.
thx

I have seen the same thing with people in there 20s look and act like they were in there 40s. I mostly noticed it was due to kiss, drugs or properly a job they hated.

I've slowed way down when it comes to riding I noticed I could heal ad fast starting in my late 20s. My hair started to fall out at 26 when I joined the military. It's never been the same.

I know that you consciously feel good being alone….but looking at the pic…if I were a psychologist, I would tell you that your unconscious feels the need to be in a couple…but since I am not a psychologist, I only see that you were hungry:)

Lol definitely hungry, actually I like being alone. I am very introverted and find group interactions exhausting. That's why I go on solo trips to recharge. Location: Joshua Tree south entrance, CA. Star gazing is amazing 20220315_194923.jpg
