Greetings and Fellicitaions from Calgary, Alberta.
This is my first post to a forum so I hope it works and I did not screw anything up.
I ordered a blue Tenere in March through a very small Yamaha dealership in Okotoks. Shortly after that order I sold my 2005 Wee Strom in anticipation of a new summer ride [as did we all]. I still have my 1999 VMax to putt around on until the S10 arrives. Not a bad second ride although it tends to go ballistic at times when the VBoost kicks in!!! I just can't help myself.
I just talked to the Okotoks dealer this morning, who just talked to his inside sales rep at Yamaha Canada in Ta-ran-a [Toronto]. That rep indicated that the bikes are expected in Canada the first week of August with an anticipated delivery to dealers 7-10 days after that. Not sure if any other Canadians have heard the same thing? I'm kinda out of the loop as we just returned to the cold North from the Bahamas and have not had time to read all the forum threads.
Anyhow it's off for a ride to Waterton Lake tomorrow on Mad Max with some VMOA riders [VMax Owners Association]. The Max is a great point and shoot bike but over a long haul it's a bit tiring, not to mention a refuel every 200 km!!
