Has anyone ever used this company as a source for OEM parts? I read a sponsored article about them on ADV Rider, so they might just be a shill for the company. I'd never heard of them before, but I did check out their website and looked up the price of a water pump gasket. This is a part that I've seen in the $6 to $11 range between online suppliers and dealerships, and Megazip listed it as $.80 direct from Japan. I can't figure out what shipping would be, since it appears that you need to sign up for an online account before you can add an item to your cart. They also have the part listed at $2.06 from a UAE warehouse, and $10.56 from a US warehouse.

Anyone have any experience with this company? This is the article on ADV Rider: https://www.advrider.com/megazip-net-makes-finding-virtually-any-oem-part-easy/

I went back to the site and checked, and I now see that there are items in my shopping cart there. There must have been a really long delay between when I added them and when they showed up in the cart.

I also now see that they do show the shipping price on that $.80 water pump gasket from Japan...$32.05 LOL. I just looked at a hydraulic unit assembly (ABS pump) for our bike on Megazip, and their price from Japan is $1460.68 and from the US, a whopping $2603.81. Shipping from Japan was $233.19.

That's probably the most expensive price I've seen anywhere for an ABS pump, even from a dealership.

I guess there would be some advantages to being able to order a part directly from Japan even with the high shipping costs, if you absolutely can't get it from the US supply chain. I ended up buying AS2 radiator hoses from England because the OEM ones were on perpetual backorder.

Out of curiosity I checked your alternator price on Rocky Mountain ATV, and they have it currently listed for $415.62, with a 7-10 business day delivery. More than you paid in March, but considerably less than the price offered by Megazip.

Oh well, guess I answered my own question.
