Market for used Corbin seat

My wife can't handle big mileage days on the Tenere, so I'm in the market for a seat. I would really like to just get the RDL, but being without my seat while they had the pan would make me sad. So I thought about just buying a Corbin and if I don't like it, then I could send my stock one to Russell and still ride on the Corbin until it was done. The Corbin is $586, how much could I expect to recoup of that if I was to sell it?

Or am I better off buying another stock seat to send to Russell?

My co-worker buddy has some sort of $800+ aftermarket high-end leather front/rear seat set for his Tenere that he's never used. Needs break-in as i take it, made for the long haul or something.

He has the stock seat on there now and says that's good enough for the short hauls he does. I believe he is going to sell this other one but never gets around to it.. I don't recall the brand but I can find out if anyone is looking. It's just sitting there...
