Re: Mark 3 Pivot Pegs

Took me more than a day, but I don't think I could go back to fixed pegs.

Whoever gets these going to be a happy camper! I have the same ones, but did add the extensions that make them "wider".
Very comfy nice setup now.

I'm contemplating putting some of these on my bike, can you tell me why you don't like them

I realy would like to hear the pros and cons of fitting these to my bike from people that have them ::017::

Re: Mark 3 Pivot Pegs

I don't have them on my ST because I don't ride it on trails and have not able to talk myself into spending the money. However, I do have them on my KLX300 and absolutely love them. It seems that the biggest advantage is that I don't have to think about or pay any attention to my feet, other than shifting and braking, obviously. When shifting my weight forward and back due to trail conditions the pivot of the pegs is not noticeable, in the sense that they just do what they are supposed to and are not a distraction. With normal pegs I always found myself noticing that my weight shifted from the front edge of the peg to the back edge as my foot moved. Since getting the pivot pegs, my feet feel much more secure due to maintaining constant contact with the whole surface of the peg. I would definitely recommend them to anyone riding trails.

These are on a 2014- so, yes. The springs are a bitch to get in there. I finally compressed them with some vice grips to get then on.

w00t w00t!

Went offroading this past weekend and after riding through some puddles and getting the pegs wet, I noticed my feet were not sticking well to the pegs and made riding pretty nerve wrecking. This listing conveniently showed up the next day. Perfect timing!

You won't slip with these- they've got serious grip. They'll be at USPS tomorrow-
