On the list for sure. Probably next Spring. There are a few factors involved but it will happen in due time. It'll probably cost me my nuts (literally) this time around though to get it past the wife. ???Combo said:Well.......jump on in and get one Venture.
Not counting Yamaha, you started this thing. )
Don't tell her .... she'll never notice the difference. Would like to say it worked for me .... it didn't :Venture said:.... It'll probably cost me my nuts (literally) this time around though to get it past the wife. ??? ...
Well, you certaintly deserve a "present" from all the hard work you've been putting in - School and Work. Sell everything you don't really need (good time to clean house) and throw a deposit down - If you get a decent deposit, it'll cost you less than a couple hundred a month.Venture said:On the list for sure. YesSiree! I was at the dealer the other day and glanced over at some chain cleaning kits that were on sale. The kits were packed in individual bags, with a can of chain lube and specialized brushes. I was so conditioned to having bikes with chains that I thought about grabbing a bag because the price was pretty reasonablemarkjenn said:There's a lot to be said for the efficiency, simplicity, and repair-ability of a chain drive, and the day-to-day maintenance of a modern o-ring chain is pretty minimal. But having said all this, there is something just SO NICE about clicking off the days in a tour or commute and not have to worry about the damn thing. For a big-miles traveling bike, I'll take the shaft too.
