Anyone had the M2018-011R done and noticed temperature difference in the heated grips?
I had the M2018-011R recall done on my 2013 S10. After the recall the left side heated grip becomes really hot even in the lower setting . But the right side grip doesn't heat up like the left one. Anyone had any similar issues after the recall? Attached is the details of the recall.

Factory heated grips? Other than disturbing the wiring harness when performing the recall, it shouldn't have anything to do with grips. I had the recall performed on my '12 w/o any other issues. Bike ran noticeably better after the recall was completed.

Didn't think Gen 1 had factory heated grips. I mean since only an ES has them on Gen 2.

my gen 1 2013 has factory heated grips fitted, the gen 1 grips come with a dial like switch for the handle bars like oxfords do but yes factory heated grips if you wanted to pay for them

Not sure how a ECU/TPS recall could affect heated grips.

Yes, I have the factory heated grips with a dial switch.
That's why I asked. Shooting in the dark here. Check the heated grip connections and confirm neither is loose. Recall involves work to harness under the RH cover so they could have been disturbed.
