Lost my second ram cup holder. Granted in 80,000 miles not too upset about it. Failure point has been the same the swivel of the cup section plastic just gets worn away.

Is there a better solution cup holder that will hold a 1 liter bottle?

I saw those at cycle and was not impressed I got the cheaper cup hold holder which does not move. I crashed off-road a few years ago and broken part of it and it still works. The only issue it had was the screw at the bottom comes loose so I replaced it with a normal screw and it hasn't given me any issues since.

Well you need gas every 230 miles or so. I drink at the gas station. Wear a full face, and don’t want the distraction or things falling off my bike possibly causing an accident. If you must drink on the bike perhaps a hydration pack.

I had the same issue with mine, replaced it with a similar one that seems to be a bit heavier duty. I suppose a solid mounted one will be next for me as well.

I will second a Camelback. Stop every coupe hundred miles, buy a bag of ice, fill with ice, and a big Gatorade. Good to go.
