Have a picture of one at the dealer at Sky Powersports in FL......
There is a lovely brand spanking new ES model with Givi luggage, lights, etc in lovely stealth black at a Yamaha dealership close to me right now. They're not showing on the website...
It can only be a 2020 bike in the UK, as I understand it. In the US they are still getting the model officially imported. I was curious to see what the new paint scheme was like! I've certainly no need to change mine. There is a lovely brand spanking new ES model with Givi luggage, lights, etc in lovely stealth black at a Yamaha dealership close to me right now.
Yes, of course you are correct, it is a 2020 bike but I suspect that even the bikes arriving in USA are 2020 bikes. It can only be a 2020 bike in the UK, as I understand it. The VIN shows model year not mfg date. The factory builds them in batches so the build date may not mean much anyway, as this first batch may've been built last calendar year.I think the link posted above quotes the vehicle vin number. I wonder if the manufacture date can be determined from that? I know UK ones can't, but I suspect US ones can.
Here's the '21 Super Tenere on the US website (if you can access it). Not sure the same livery will be offered in other countries where the '21s will be sold:It can only be a 2020 bike in the UK, as I understand it. I like how's it looking in the black color scheme with actual photos. Call me crazy, but I think the new HD PA looks like the Tenere, with both having that black color scheme. To be clear - I didn't buy one. It just showed up on CycleTrader.
Just did another search, and there's several more 2021s showing up across the country.
I was not impressed by Dirt_Dad coming back to the dealership after the Tiger 900 ride and also don't want a chain street bike so it is out for me. Looking forward to riding the V85TT but am hoping for info about a Super Tenere update, am comfy on the big ol' beast, and have too much going on right now to change bikes too.I was going to pull the trigger on either the Tiger 900 RP or Moto Guzzi v85 tt, and was leaning toward the $4500 savings/shaft drive of the Guzzi, but I think I might wait until I can see the 2021 Super Tenere...
