I'd like to buy a set of Yamaha OEM side cases.....preferably black. Would need mounting hardware/racks as well. I would prefer new side cases but would consider a set of used ones in good condition. Any suggestions?

This might be harder than you would expect. Finding the boxes will be the easy part. Finding the hardware is nearly impossible. Many times, people sell the bike, keep the boxes to sell later, and forget to remove the mounting hardware. Yamaha doesn't even carry the original box hardware anymore. They do have the new style box and hardware on their website though. Good luck.

Good to know. That would explain why I couldn't find the hardware for the original box on the Yamaha site.

I have a set in black with all hardware, came off my 2018. I replaced them with a larger set from Givi. I’m from Canada, not sure what that would look like to ship cross boarder. I’m not sure what they are worth, but open to offers.

I am away on vacation so this is the only picture I have. I’m thinking somewhere around the $750 CAD mark For everything. Comes with 1 cut key for the locks.

They look pretty good in the picture. Do they have any damage besides some light scratches? Can you take some close up pics of both cases and send to me when you return from vacation?

Yes, they are in very good shape, no dents or dings. I’ll post pictures around the 11th.
Sounds good. And when you say they come with hardware, do you mean everything I would need to mount them including the racks? My new Super T has nothing. I look forward to seeing the pictures. Could you include some photos of the inside of the cases as well? Thanks.

Hmm, I’ll have to take a look. Perhaps They are used with the Givi mounts.
Don't know about the Givi idea, but the kit I ordereed came with those two braces along with all of the other parts you show. As Sierra1 said, they are easy to overlook when removing the rest of the parts because they are hidden by the passenger pegs, but I think you'll find that is what the two brackets with the rubber tops that hold the front of the boxes bolt onto, If I recall correctly, that's what they are for.

I know you said these came off your 2018 model. I wonder if they would mount to my '23 ST ES without any additional work needed (i.e. more hardware, drilling holes, etc.)?
I switched all the Yamaha luggage and brackets from my 2013 non ES to my new 2018 ES and everything fit fine, it was my first time so it took quite awhile but it really wasn’t very difficult.
