I've got to be honest I'm not sure if I like the looks of the Givi Trekker luggage or not on the S10. But maybe it's because the side and top cases don't match. One is solid black and the other two are silver and black. But I'm very interested in a bike for sell that comes with the luggage. My last bike had the OEM Yamaha cases all 3 and I really liked them. So how are these Givi Boxes? And the Givi mounting brackets. And how do they do off-road?

I've had a Givi top case on a couple FJR's and the quality was great. Just know nothing about the Trekkers

This is the bike with the Trekkers I'm considering

Givi Trekkers work fine for wife and I. We've been using them on our individual bikes since they first came to market in the US and have had the same cases moved bike to bike without any failures or issues. I keep a 33L as a daily top case on my S10 and swap out for a 52L when I need more room. Wife has the 33L's for side cases and switches between a 46L and a 52L Trekker for the top case on her S10.

Racking system comes in 2 flavors, quick removable and Not. PLR2119 is the quickie version. With the 33L cases, it measures 38" wide in total on the bike.

you hit it when you pointed out they are 2 different color schemes. Mine are all black and look fine with the bike (red 2015). I run 2X46L and 1X33L. I have had Trekkers on different rides and have zero complaints about them beyond the TERRIBLE instructions they supply with them.

Have you read about the locks falling out of the factory cases? It happens, too frequently.

Keep the Givi's and see how you like them. What's nice is depending upon how much stuff you want / need to carry any given day, you can..

A. Run all 3 as it sits for max storage
B. Pull the top bag and just run the side cases
C. Pull the side cases and just run the top box....52L for max storage or one of the 33's for a smaller overall profile.

If you find you do like them, sell the black top case and buy a brushed silver 52 to match the 33's.

I know the OEM' cases have issues with locks popping out. I've owned them before. I really liked them. If you loctite the screws all in and keep them lubed it's a non issue and they are great luggage. Probably the only others I'd get are Bumonts or Jesses.

Saw the Givi bags today. Just not my cup of tea. They look really well built. Just not what I want. So as soon as I buy the bike this weekend you'll see the bags in the for sale Forum.

What's the condition of that topcase? I might be interested in taking it off your hands :)

Givi Trekkers are a quality set of luggage and are pretty versatile. I would suggest keeping them on the bike and trying them out before you consider selling them.

I had them on my S10 a few years ago, but ended up selling them. The main reason was because I wanted a bit more storage space for going on 2-up trips with my wife and I ended up getting the Givi Outback Trekkers. In addition, the regular Trekkers can be made to be partially top opening, but I preferred a full top opening case.

May have missed out on buying this bike. The guy that was supposedly buying my Bass Boat was a no show today. Now resisting. Live and learn. Should have kept it on the market until I had cash in hand.

Sorry about the no show, it sucks when people do that. I hope you can sell it quickly.

Sold today but the Tenere I was looking at in St. George must have sold because the guy won't return calls. To be honest I'm fine with it because I found a better one for a better price. But it's going to be a 1500 mile round trip to pick it up.
