Like I say, it may be nothing to worry about but it just doesn’t look right to me. I’m guessing the o rings function is the same as the rubberised threads on a speed bleeder (stop air being drawn past threads) in which case not having an o ring on a speed bleeder is not a problem. But it still leaves the rebate in the body unexplained. I guess we just need to try it out
