Cough, cough, Kerrville. Cough, cough, cough, Twisted Sisters.
Yeah, I bought my 2016 Yamaha FJR from Destination Cycle in Kerrville. I got a decent deal on that bike. I looked to see if they had an ST1200's but they had very little bike inventory in general and no ST1200's.

Congrats Fleuger! I am on my second S10, 2023 this time. Had the unfortunate pleasure of dealing with RideNow as well. They actually used to be impossible to deal with, but it has improved a bit. I am in the Austin area as well. Holler if you want to hit the hill country to break her in.
Thanks and appreciate the offer. I'll definitely reach out for some riding. I'm so looking forward to 'winter' riding weather again.

winter riding , now that's seems far fetched ... and only last 3 days ... I'm as frustrated with the over whelming heat wave of this never ending summer as any man. so l ride Sunday mornings and this morning is very nice indeed. enjoy .

I was ass-suming that's why winter was in quotes. Our Winter consisting of 60° +/- 10° and sunshine.

I’m seeing news on TV in Ottawa that it’s coming up to the time of year when people have to have snow tyres on their vehicles.

I’m thinking, “…there’s legislation over what tyres you have to have on your vehicle?”

We don’t even get black ice so snow is something I have to travel a thousand km out more south to go see on top of hills during winter. I think I wore a hoodie maybe half a dozen times during winter this year…

I'm in Cancun with my wife (only a few days), but I'm already feeling Moctezuma's revenge...from here, between the spiciness, the humidity and the heat, “no one leaves with a healthy ass”:):)

Most EU countries also require snow tires between Nov and April. Having lived in the Boston MA area, it totally makes sense to have snow tires. A set with basic wheels will run one around $1500. How much does it cost if your car slides off the road into a ditch, or worse, into another car? Way more than $1500. I used to have a VW R32 in MA and I'd switch to snow tires in late Dec. The car handled like it was on rails, even in 6 inches of snow and -20F.

An R32…. Drool…
That’s a car you’d almost donate a left nut to own
