Like buttons

This may have been discussed before but can we get like buttons like other forums? Advrider has them and I like it. Sometimes I way to say I read your post but don't have anything to say. A like button would achieve that.

Seriously though, it is a good idea, but conversely should you not then have 'don't like' button?, but then you avoid dialogue, good or bad, and to me that is an important factor of these forums.... just a view point.

Interesting idea worth looking into.
We're part of the SimpleMachineForums (SMF), as you can see with the logo in the upper right corner of every page. Looking at the Admin/Moderator forum for SMF the likes/dislikes buttons have been talked about for years and earlier this year were put into beta mode, but are not considered to be ready for prime time. It turns out that a number of Admins and site owners do not like the buttons.

I miss all the neat and little Nasty buttons other forums have. as well as the drinking Kool-Aid button..
ADV has some Smart A$$ ones I like, cuts down on name calling (like we need more of that lately)!! >
