Light options with Denali Aux Light Mounting Bracket

I just got this mount from Twisted Throttle for my 2016 Tenere. This is the one that mounts underneath the headlights. It looks like you have to trim about 1/4" off each side of the plastic piece that bolts to the same holes. Can anyone confirm that? Also, it looks like you only have about 2" of clearance from the center of the light mounting bolt hole to the fairing on the right side. I'm considering the Denali DM 2.0 or the Piaa LP530 lights. Has anyone tried these with this bracket or have another light suggestion. I think they both will work but want to avoid the buy and return merry-go-round.

I can't tell how those PIAAs are mounted but it is definitely not with the Denali bracket. The Denali bracket drops the lights down and to the outside of the headlights and forks.
