There is a shocking amount of bodywork on the rear subframe. Who has pulled off the back panels and is running the bike semi-naked? I have already swapped out the pillion seat for a rack, and now I am thinking about pulling all of the bodywork/pegs, etc from the tail to trim some weight. Any issues or regrets? Simply wrap the exhaust and I'm good to go?

Pic I stole from an exhaust thread to highlight a naked tail.

Nice if in an area that stays pretty dry. Not what I want running wet muddy roads.

I just realized that one side of my Jesse racks has a dedicated tie-in spot with the passenger peg. Bummer, I was excited to try running the rear without any bodywork once my new header and exhaust arrived.
