I did the rears on mine... Clear lens and regular LED (Amber flash).
They're not running lights in the rear though, remember.

Any chance of changing the bulb sockets in the rear to do a similar mod?

AC,
If you buy FRONT turnsignal assy's for the rear and just tap the third wire to the tail light lead you will get what you want. Changing bulb sockets will work too, but getting ones that will install EXACTLY the way they need to, to fit in the OEM housing, may be a problem.

Nothing a little silicone couldn't fix...

Now to find motivation.

A bit confused about the LED lights :-[. The thread has links to a few SKUs: 3157 3457 3057 4157 and than 7443 (aka 7441 7444). Do all of these fit the S10.

Installed the relay, got the LEDs today, but can't find the lenses :-(. Called several places, seems like all sources have been depleted by S10 owners..... :)

I feel like I must be on crazy pills. Isn't the requirement for running lights to be amber? I'm seriously poring over multiple sites on the net and I'm not finding it anywhere, but my brain insists that it must be true. Obviously no red lamps facing forward. I read online so far that of they are considered parking lights, in Canada they must be amber, but if they're classed as running lights, they can be white OR amber. Since no one else brought up legality, and there are older, wiser heads here than mine, I feel like I must be wrong. Any LEO's want to chime in? I know that lights on motor vehicles have different requirements state by state and Canada has federal guidelines to inform the provincial authorities, but I can't find a clear answer.

I can't speak for Canada but in the US there are plenty of vehicles that have white running lights... my Honda Pilot has white running lights that come on automatically.
What's the difference?
Many new cars have the LED lights. Call them "Daytime lights" or "Running Lights" - I believe it's the same thing, different terminology.
There's no law that says you must have running lights so by changing them to (ultimately) driving lights, isn't that the same as removing them and replacing with a different light?
The argument could be that as you've changes the bulb and the lens it's actually a different light... You've certainly changed out the way it operates.
