This is such a cool idea, thanks for sharing. I got everything and ended up getting the lenses from Moto Lume.

Good job guys.

I'm done.

Paid too much sourcing from so many places, but I like the concept. Easy to deploy too.

Thanks

Still, it's cheaper than buying the Yamaha LED and losing the front running lights!
(Trying to make ya feel better! LOL!)

I really shouldn't have whined. Sorry.
You are right. This is a clever idea and a nice visibility enhancement too.

Besides, it's chump change compared to a couple of farkles I am dishing out for this week.
(Ohlins is a bad word for the budget)

And yes, you made me feel better. :)

MotoLume charges a lot for their shipping and handling and did not come close to sending it out within 24 hours like their site promises. I just spoke to them this morning and it's just going out today; disappointing passive-aggressive customer service when I asked about the delay. Look elsewhere....

My clear lenses came in. They come as a "European Kit". Which means amber bulbs are included.

Thought I would do the switch while I wait for the cool leds and flasher.

But, it appears our bulbs are different. We have 2 filaments and 4 contacts. These amber bulbs have 2 filaments, but only 2 contacts.
So no blinky blink. Strange though. With only 2 contacts, how do they light the second filament?

No fun until my LEDs arrive, I guess.

I got a note from MotoLume that they cancelled my order and refunded my money. I asked 58cycle.com and they said they would not have them for 6 months. So, I'm back to square one looking for clear lenses.

Hand signals. If there's a will, there's always a way! :D

Seriously, though, I feel your pain of getting half way into a project only for it to take a left turn. It just never goes right... ;D

Ok, that was bad.

Thunderpig, I musta got the last set from 58cycle. Wierd too, since I never get lucky like that.

Karson, you hilarious. But I'm at the MotoGp. So nananananana. (I think that is the right amount of na's)

Finished mine tonight. Took a while for all the goodies to come in from various sources.

Worked just as described. Even my hazards work just fine.

Plug n play. Always nice.

I just put it all together today and it works great. I had to use a different lens so it required a little trimming of plastic and I ended up hot-gluing the bulb housing into the lens because it didn't have the screw-in lock.

I am very happy with the result: visibility is much better with the bright, white lights.

Did mine and it looks great! Only problem was the lens being a bit small for the housing, but some electrical tape on the inside edge sorted that. Thanks Zamfield ::012::

Has anyone found another source for the lenses? I found one place, but their shipping costs were extravagant...
