Ktm1190 adventure

I traded my A990 for the Tenere, just got tired of working on the damn thing. Was always scared it wasn't going to get me home one day... I will admit, I have a soft sport in my heart for the 1190. I am intrigued by the power. Will I ever trade? I am going to give KTM a few years to work out the bugs then consider it.

I suddenly feel kind of novice. Loved my V-Strom, especially the rock-solid reliability. Did not like riding it off-pavement. I never thought a V-Strom was anything like a KTM Adventure, but when I saw the new 1190, first thing I thought of was this...

Looks can be deceiving. It is definitely 90% more dirt worthy than any Strom, as is the 990. This will be the most exciting bike to come out this year. Past owners of 990s have stated the new bike is better in every way, which includes dirt. Owned a new 950 S back in 2006 and it was pretty awesome but rode my pals new 990 Baja last week and, oh my, much improved and faster. The 1190 will be more too, much more. Only a novice would compare this bike to a Strom.
