The thread on this bike is really active on advrider. A twin adv bike that weighs 375 pounds is quite intriguing. Years ago, I purchased a Ninja 250 from a local kid who was mechanically inept. I got it sorted and rode it around for a few months. I was pleasantly surprised at how capable that bike was at highway duty. A 300 cc efi version has to be even better. Hmmm...

What do you guys think?

I had a Ninja 300 efi that I rode a couple of times. Once for 1000miles in a day, then a 1500mile day on the highway. Nice little bike and far, far more capable than I expected or you may expect from the numbers.

I also have a Versys 650.

The 300 with Versys ergos would be a fun and nimble thing.

I just read that the valve adjustment interval is 7,500 miles. Why is it that short? Every Yamaha I own is 26,000 miles. Even the YZF-R3 is 26,000 miles. What is Yamaha doing that other Japanese manufacturers are not?

Suzuki are also about to launch a DL250 V Strom................
I think the Indian market is the biggest target for bike manufacturers of these 'mini' bikes.
