Just purchased new Tenere in Kansas City.

Hello everyone. Just closed the deal on the new Tenere. Pick up Saturday. Was looking at several bikes, Versys, and Vstrom. One test ride, and I knew which one it had to be. Been pouring over posts on accessories. Lots of helpful info here. Thanks for all your input. Former GS rider, then went to HD for a couple seasons. Back to the adventure bike, and can't hardley wait for Saturday. Just wanted to say hello, and Happy Holidays.

The main thing I have found wrong with this bike is at the end of the days ride you want to turn it around and go again when I don't have time to do so.

The bike is a 2012 and its blue. I will put up some pics when I have my cases and trunk mounted. Researching on line now for which cases to get. I also want to add an engine guard, and taller wind screen. I'm going to have to pick up a metric measuring tape so I can see just what size some of these items are. Most of the articles state the dimensions in mm's. Looks like there is considerable discussion on cases and such in the forum so I should have plenty of info to go on. KC is still having some semi warm afternoons so I hope to get some miles in before Christmas. Goodbye Harley, hello twisties.

If you are looking at hard side cases I highly recommend Jesse 10" Odyssey II's. I have had them on three different bikes.
