Took a chance and purchased the bike on-line from a dealer in Oregon. Did not get much information regarding the history, but it was an owner trade-in and looked like it had been in storage for a couple of years. Had been searching for a low-mileage, late model Super T for about six months and the dealer rep did not try to tack on extra fees or charges. The price listed on their web-site is what I paid ($11K). During this process discovered that a lot of places would list a low price to get your interest and then charge a lot of money ($1500-$2000) to actually purchase the motorcycle. Just completed the first 600 mile service, and other than a small coolant leak (retightened a clamp fitting), the bike has been running well. Originally thought that the battery would need to be replaced, but after putting it on a trickle charger the first night, has started right up and holds a charge, so that's a plus. Named her "Reckless" after the US Marine Corps Korean War Horse.
