Say there is a cooling system where the filler neck is away from the radiator and houses the thermostat. Filler neck is connected to the overflow, radiator and the water pipe from the engine via hoses. At the bottom of the radiator there is another hose that connects to the water pipe that feeds coolant back to the pump. So basically usual stuff.
Now, say the bike is stone cold, sat for a week. You remove the filler neck cap and start the cold bike without it. As soon and the bike starts the coolant comes gushing out like a fountain out of the filler neck for all 10 seconds that you had the bike running.
Clogged radiator?
