Hey there gang!

I just found this forum and very pleased I did, as I have the VStrom on Craigslist and am already shopping for my next ride. The SuperT is one of two finalists. The GSA was one of three, but I finally realized that the SuperT is the GSA and some more.....especially for my off-road riding.

Little background. I have lived in Colorado going on 11 years. I started riding over 5 years ago. Adventure Riding was the bug that seriously bit me.

About four years ago, I filled a need for a ride event and now......a few years later, with the help of some riding friends, founded Rocky Mountain Adventure Riders....an AMA Group. Matter of fact, it is the first AMA group in the nation that is dedicated to Adventure Riding. Check us out: www.rmariders.org

Anyway, I appreciate all the hard work that has gone into this site and I will be taking advantage of all the information.

If I can pick up a SuperT in the next few months, I hope to join some of you in Ouray in June.

Thanks in advance for answering all my questions.

John

::004:: Big John hope you can find you a Tenere before June it would be good to have your route expertise.I wanted to come to RMAR in Silverton last year but rode the CDR and only have so much vacation. You all look like you have a great time. This is the place to find out all things Tenere. Its a great bike and pretty much trouble free. The Assuies or Africans didn't tear them up so that was enough for me. Good luck on your hunt and hope to meet you in June. Mark

Yup, guilty as charged.

Greetings from a fellow Springs'er. Welcome aboard, Big John!

BTW, I got my Super Ten at Apex. They were good folks to work with. Don't know enough about RMCP to comment either way...

Thanks for all the kind words, gang!

We woke up to 7" of snow here in the Springs....and not a negative word about it. We need the moisture so that our access isn't closed this summer because fire danger.

Still have the Strom on Craigslist and don't expect it to sell until the weather warms up. It is hard for shoppers and buyers to get excited when there is a -2 degree windchill.
