Wow! That link for “xploremoto” looks broken. Seriously. A moderator may want to eliminate that portion of the message.
There are posts immediately after the one you quoted indicating that xplorermoto.com was already gone 7 years ago. Also, Jesse Luggage hasn't posted since 2014 as well, so you may want to reach out to them directly, since it looks like their website is up and active: https://www.jesseluggage.com

Didn't see this question anywhere but I have a gen II (2014 non-es) and am looking to purchase a used set of jesse luggage panniers and racks from a gen I. Will I need additional parts to make the racks fit?
It seems like you are all talking about spacers a lot but wondering if there are any brackets as well and what those may look like, if they can be made simply or have to be purchased.

Thanks for the response. I reached out to Jesse luggage and they got back to me in less than 24 hours. They say there is a kit but sounded like they would have to kinda piece meal it together and charge around 40 dollars.

I'm really impressed with my Jesse Luggage, and I think it would be worth the $40 to make a Gen II kit work on a Gen I bike.

agree. I had the jesse luggage before and really liked it. there is a local guy selling his gen 1 tenere and it has the jesse luggage on it. i asked him if he might be interested in selling just the luggage and the racks and he said yes so am thinking about buying it and getting the 40 kit to help ease the install.
