Just wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you Jaxon, aka. Tabasco, for all his hard work putting together the Ouray Rally 2013. Big thanks to Karson too! I just didn't manage to steal his soul with my photography machine.

Me and the missus had a great trip - 11 days, 2400 miles, and the Super Ténéré was flawless ::012::

Is there a third option??? ::025::

But seriously folks ... Poll or no poll, history builds a reputation. I wish I enjoyed a reputation this good and I'd ride with him as long as he didn't make me look like too much of a n00b.

Jenny & I covered 5,830 kms (3,623 mls) over two weeks through Alberta, Montana, Utah, Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, Wyoming and back through Montana to Alberta. The bike was perfect throughout from temperatures of 2c (36f) in Yellowstone to 41c (106f) in Moab. We rode through the torrential rain that flooded Calgary, out ran hail storms near Helena and dodged thunderstorms (almost) south of Great Falls as well as enjoyed plenty of sunshine.

(And that's my pannier in your photo of Jaxon).

Great guy to do business with, I wouldn't ride with him (off road) because I wouldn't want him to feel like a babysitter. He passed me on last dollar road. He and his group were out of my league.

We rode a few days together and had a blast! That tenere of his is a beast! Its Sounds awesome and I watched in envy as it just soaked up the nastiest rock fields, and pulled like a freight train on the dirt roads. I think he may have cost me some money ::025::

I've bought enough stuff from him to keep him going for a week or two. Hope to meet him some day. ::008:: R

HAHA, I'm getting ready to make an order in about 2 weeks. I'm making a list and checking it twice.

For sure! Jaxon, Karson and all who helped, thanks again for all the time spent on the rally. Sharon and I had a great time. Jaxon I will be calling soon for one of those skid plates you make and there will be a touratech one for sale, only a little bent. I hope the next get together will be as good this years. What a great country we live in, thanks again all

We had a great first conversation..........

he called me back (I left a VM but forgot I called), since the number was unfamiliar I answered it and went into my anti-telemarketer bit. He never let up giving me a rash of shit right back, when he mentioned my avatar I got it, he knew who I was. Gosh I bet we talked for 20 mins before we got on to the reason I called him. Oh yea did I mention it was like 730 or 8 at night. He was still at his shop doing what he does.

Good guy, nice to have a photo with the face..........
