OK, so I don't have a SuperTen, nor am I bringing one home in the near future...
BUT, I am starting my research on these bikes to determine if one *should* come home.
You see, I currently enjoy a KTM 690 Enduro R and an FJR 1300 in the garage (so, yeah, I'm a bit biased to the S10 already, though the Triumph Explorer XC has my eye, too), so I'm blessed bike wise. Lately I have been considering a new mount, however, to replace the FJR (which is a low mileage '09 model). My wife and I enjoy 2-up rides and I enjoy long distance stuff, as well as trail riding, so...
A TEN might give me more of a dual purpose ride - go long and explore those gravel roads I see, while still pulling duty on two-up group rides with friends.
In a nutshell, I'm trying to learn if the S10 is the right second bike for my garage. I'm not expecting this bike to follow in the tracks of my 690 R, but hitting gravel roads and forest service roads would be nice.
Obviously I have real dirt work covered with the 690... ::008::
