The Better half would like to ride pillion this summer but would like some security in a back rest. I don’t run a top box (yet).
Friend gave me this Backrest from his SuperTenere which came with the bike when he bought it.
The mounting Lshaped bracket runs from the back of the backrest - down and back over the (stock) luggage rack. And bolted down using the 2 bolts in the rack.
But I need longer bolts to allow for the thickness of L Bracket.
M8x1.25 thread. And about 4.25 inches long.
Anyone have ideas where I can get these bolts? Local stores and usual suspects not much of help.
