I rode the Triumph Tiger and KTM 990's when shopping and would recommend either highly over the WeeStrom (plus I feel there engines are more refined than the Yamaha.)
And if you want real power, Ducati's Multistrada or KTM's newest 1200 Adventure Bike would be tops on my list. The Super T has giddie up, but lacks any real rush to it.
