I'm thinking this may just be my first long ride on the Tenere.

This is the second time they are doing a fall Strom gathering. The original idea was hatched as an answer to the rain soaked spring gatherings. In theory October would offer dry weather and lower traffic volume. I didn't make it last fall, but everyone seemed to have a good time. I did go to the spring 2008, 2009, and 2010 gatherings. Always a good time. Iron Horse is a fantastic facility, good people and some of the best roads anywhere.
I've led rides down there a couple of years and have some great routes mapped out on the GPS. I'm sure I could dig up the files for anyone that's interested.
I have not committed yet, but I did pencil it in to take a few days off work.
