I installed the Puig clear touring windshield today. It's about 7" taller than the OEM and seems to be pretty Sturdy. I'm 6'5" with a 36" inseam and had the OEM on the highest setting and was getting lots of noise and buffeting. Right now I have this one on the 1st mark from the bottom and it seems to be set up at the right height looking over the top. I'll find out tomorrow how it works.

I saw that one on Ebay and almost ordered it. The only reason I didn't was the ad didn't specify the height compared to the OEM touring shield.
So, I got a Parabellum.

I went directly to the Puig website and got the specs from there and ordered it from Amazon for $125. I was going to for for the parabellum also but the price was more than the Puig. I rode into work this morning and what a difference over the stock windshield. The 38 degree wind went up and over my helmet. Next I think I'm going to order the Puig engine guards.

I got a factory second 25" Parabellum for $128 delivered. Supposed to have a couple scratches near the top edge.
I have the Puig engine guards. I like them.

How did the Puig work out? Stock screen on highest setting I am getting hit about mid face shield with bugs and wind. Need something taller.

I purchased the Puig Touring screen a couple of weeks ago and have now been able to put a couple of hundred miles in it, with a mix of commuting and a weekend trip with higher speeds. I purchased it for $125 new. I have a '14 S10. I am 6'1" with a 34" inseam. I wear a Bell RS-1 helmet. i originally put sway bar bushings under the OEM shield to tilt it back, that helped some, but poor air management still existed resulting in buffeting that was tiresome over time. The new Puig is very tall, maybe 5 to 6 inches taller. I now have mine on the middle setting and I can see over it, but not by much, maybe just below my nose. At the highest setting I would be looking through the shield, which may be nice for winter, but I am not a fan of looking through a shield. There is good wind on my shoulders and arms, so the venting on my jacket works great, but the helmet vents have less air now. But the wind air management is very good. With no wind, the air is very clean at 70 and under. At 55 there is essentially no wind. Around 70 there is a little slight buffeting, but very acceptable, this is a motorcycle no? When there is traffic in front of me, there can be a bit of low speed buffeting because of the dirty air. I did not want a barn door, but a good screen that still looked good on the bike and worked. Overall, I am very happy with the shield, the quality is excellent, and the value for price paid is very good. ::012:: I will attach a couple of pics tonight.

I got the light smoke touring with the Wind deflector a couple of weeks ago. I'm 6'1" and now I don't get any buffeting with the screen in its lowest position. Look good and is nicely made. It's 6" taller than the stock screen but i can still see over it. I've done about 400 miles so far in sun/rain and very happy with it.

Hi WaltM

So far so good. I miss the wind for my chin vent though. I have it set so I can see over the top and it provides enough wind for my top vent so air does come into the helmet and exhausts out the back. A lot of times I just ride with the visor up and just the sun shield down. ;)
