In case anyone is interested... I've installed an INNOVV K1 Moto dual camera DVR (about $280) on my '12 XTZ.

Wanted to have the convenience of recording all the time without having to remember to charge or mount a camera (or two).

Let me know if you have any questions and I will try my best to advise.

I just finished an install of the K1 system on my 2012 Tenere as well. Already captured a few wrecks on the highway and some suicidal animals trying to tango with my front wheel. Excellent video quality, sound is a little muffled but I didn't get it for audio.

What are your thoughts so far? Did you use the GPS module? I opted to leave mine off, in case I was to ride in a spirited fashion...on a closed course...errr, race track.

Very nicely done, I've also looked at this camera system as well but I don't have the confidence to install it lol. I know I could do it, but at the same time I doubt myself... ::021::

So far - between getting my replaced rim trued and spokes tightened properly, another long story - I find it to be a very good unit. The video is great and the ease of use is awesome, install and forget until you need footage.

I'm planning on leaving the GPS/Speaker mounted, just disconnect the USB connection to it unless I am going to be riding for several hours -road tripin'.

I've shown this to a few friends and they already have me scheduled for install on their bikes. ::003::

Any updates? My wife just ordered the system for me (we've recently added dash cams to our 4 wheel vehicles, so this was a timely post).

There are a few moto vloggers that use this camera system. All of them have had good experience with them so far. Video quality from what I've seen is pretty good as long as you mount it on something solid.

Got my system installed yesterday, but didn't get a chance to try it out yet. Mounting the front camera took me the longest to figure out, mostly due to trying to find a suitable mounting point. No pics yet, but I'll get a few when I can.

Snapped a couple of pics. After I was done with the install, I added the remote puck to the top of the left side body panel, mostly to be able to see the LED to make sure it's recording.
