Looking for input on what others are using for inner bags in their OEM panniers. Yamaha offers inner bags designed for the OEM bag, but, as with any OEM item, not always the best option nor the best price.

Thanks in advance!!!!

I have an OEM bag I use for the right side. I bought it off of EBay cheaper then the dealer's price. Its handy for carrying things up to the motel room or throwing in the tent. Only have one bag, thats all I seem to need. Its a nice bag and fits in the box great.

Mine are backordered, but the inner bag for the yamaha trunk is as thick as a padded lunch container, it honestly looks like it is insulated, not sure if that is how they all are or not!

I don't use bags in the OEM panniers. By not using bags I can squeeze in considerably more stuff. It only takes a second or two to unhook the panniers and take into a hotel room.

Bestem USA. Bought some for my buds FJR for 59.00 shipped. I think the S-10's are 79.00.

The only problem I have with bringing the panniers in is how grungy they can be sometimes.

I like the OEM bags though I don't use them often. Unless I have a lot of little stuff or hard things I don't want banging around, I skip the bags because they just add weight.

I picked up a couple of shopping bags at REI. They fit, are open at the top and have carry handles. Don't use them all the time, but on longer trips I can just lift them out and carry them into lodging. Cheap option.

For the FJR or the Tenere? Or both?

Mine came today and they are very well constructed. Since I don't have my Tenere yet, I cannot actually do a trial fit. I was expecting the left bag to have a different shape/cut to match the pannier, but both bags appear to be the same (although mirror image).

Normal??

Rod,

If you want to stop by and test them on my cases you are welcome to. I'm pretty close to you in Johnstown. PM me if you want.

Cheers,
Craig

On the fjr they were exact fit. I would assume the same for the 10

On the FJR, the panniers are exactly the same size, so I would expect the bags to be the same as well. With the Tenere OEM panniers a different size, I would have almost expected the bags to be different size/shape.
