I'm in New Castle, Indiana. I didn't pre-order but was able to pick up a tenere and have a little over 1000 miles on it. Most of the farkling is done except for the electrical. I'm the founder of the Motorcycle Tourers Forum http://www.mctourer.com and have several friends from the MTF who are also here.

I also have a KLR 650, BMW F650 GS, and Susuki FA 50().

Last summer I completed a 23,000 mile ride in 48 days. I'm working on a book and hope to have it completed by the end of the year.

Glad to see another Hoosier here on the forum. There are two of us in Noblesville, IN that pre-ordered ST's and both like the bike very well.
Matter of fact I just rode through New Castle on Saturday heading down to the Metamora area.

so I'm still cutting my teeth on the good routes and roads.

What I've seen so far rivals Arkansas for twisties and combine that with being just up the road from the snake n dragon

all things are possible,

Might hafta put together an All Indiana get together.

I too picked up a Tenere with out the prepay deal.
We have met long ago when I rode to your house for a MTF meet and greet with Blue Moon and BadBob. Back then I was on a Venture. Been through a few bikes since that one.
