Congrats on the new ride - lot's of former Vee and Wee owners here that seem pretty damn happy. Sure you'll love the 10 - she's a helluva machine! Especially after you get some miles on her - I swear mine keeps getting smoother and more powerful with each mile (right @ 12k now)...

My VFR was exactly the same, just kept getting better with age, I put 30K on that in about 12months, that was many moons ago though. The Tenere has reawakened my love for two wheels though

My last bike was an 07 VFR - there are quite a few VFR refugees here as well. And yes, that V4 is an incredible engine - no doubt - give the Tenere a little time, and it will win you over. Don't miss my VFR a bit (except she was a proper crimson color (ROLL TIDE!))...

I do miss my VFR, but put 20k miles in the Tenere in 11 months. I think I like the Tenere just a little.

I've actually come full circle in my riding choices. Yamahas were my first bikes. A DT125 in 1985/6 soon to be followed by an XT 600
