Here's a setup I'd like to share. It has worked really well in hauling the groceries and other sundries. The bags theirselves are pretty cheap if the attaching pieces are already had and the coolers are pretty tough. I glanced a light pole baluster with one and near knocked me off the bike and there was nary a scratch on the cooler. I'd think if the bike was to hit the ground they'd act as a support and prevent further damage. They should also accept paint but I am undecided yet. Was going to paint match the bike color but the bike is pretty stealth as it is, may go to a brighter color. I think they are 30 qt capacity and about $30 ea. The cooler shelf sits on the Moskomoto slider and I used rivnuts or through bolts can be used to fasten them together, the bottom fastener uses ange aluminum as a shelf screwed into the bottom. I much prefer the top loading to side loading. The latches are simple brass pieces to keep the lids down in case of, they do stay closed of themselves.

I was tooling down the road yesterday on a wet road at about 40-50 mph coming up on an intersection, and this truck starts to pull out. It looked to be a fine intercept and for some reason it stopped and then backed up. I was getting ready to hit the binders and experiencing a little bit of an adrenaline rush. As I got closer it appeared to be a young girl, maybe she brain farted and thought it was four way stop or something, I had the green light anyway. I don't know what stopped her, maybe the traffic barrels, maybe my lookout. Whatever, I am thankful.
