Hello,
I just bought a "new" 2012 ST. It was a dealership demo/managers bike. Sold with the full warranty so what the heck. I have wanted one since I sat on it at the 2010 Motorcycle show in Seattle.
I love it.
I have been riding since I was 8 and had cursers, crotch rockets, choppers a KLR and others in the past and this is the bike I have been searching for. I have done a few 400 mile days on it since I got in the beginning of May. So far, I have added a Madstad windscreen (I had one on my KLR and I loved it, on this not so much) Yamaha wind deflectors and a MIVV pipe. I have a set of ROX iso risers in the shop for it and I ordered a set of ADV Monster lights for it today.
The day I was taking it home, I was in the dealership parking lot getting suited up and a guy pulled up and rolled his window down. He asked me if I knew about this site as his friend, George was a member. He took my email and by the time I was back at work, he had emailed George and I introducing us. My account here was messed up and George took it upon himself to work the the admins to get it fixed for me.
I normally just lurk on forums because I have found if you search, you will find the information you are looking but with that kind of stuff going on, I will hop in.
