Now that I've had My Yamaha for a bit I feel it's a keeper and want to purchase YES coverage from Yamaha. The Selling Dealer wanted $800 for four years. What's a good price and what are your recommendations . Thanks in advance

I purchased it from a Yamaha shop for $280...if I remember correctly. Give me a couple of days and I can tell you where. It was very reasonable.

800 is insane, I got one year of yes on top of my manufacturers warranty, it then cost me 450 for another three years worth.
Check the above threads, it sounds like I still paid too much.

Paid $449 for 4 additional years (total 5) from a dealer on eBay. Can't remember the dealer now, but they were recommended on this site.
Edited to add....Fremont Motorsports, Florence, CO

Rene it is. What dept sells the Yes? Service?
Not sure. Renee and her husband own the place though so just ask for her. Evidently shes the one that handles the YES warranty. I spoke with her when I got it and she filled me in on everything.

May not be worth it with these well built bikes. I may never get to use the policy. I paid $1200. 2 years left but my hunch is the bike isn't going to break.

When I bought my S10, the dealer wanted $800 for the additional 4 years of YES. Told him he was nuts and showed him that I could buy it for $414 online from another dealer. He matched the price for me.

I hope I do not need the additional warranty, but for $100 a year, cheap insurance.

Your dealer can sell you 4 years for 400.00 he won't make any money or loose any but prob will benifit from treating you right. When I bought my yes the dealer wanted 800 I asked if he could do it for 400 because of the on line deal of 388 He said no problem. He knows I'll be back

My 2012 had an engine failure. Crankshaft up was replaced except the cylinders and head (physical). Everything else was replaced. Very expensive. I now have a 2015 ES and who knows how long the suspension will function properly. Extended warranty is a warm and fuzzy feeling.

People need to specify how many years they are getting when giving a price. I doubt the guy who said $250 got four years. I also got a local dealer to match the $389 D&H quoted for a four year YES plan.
