But I live in the US. If you have purchased this light kit could you please tell me where you ordered from. I know they are not sold stateside. I don't care about the shipping cost from overseas I just want a reputable vendor to deal with.

Thanks

Phil, do you have the part number? I definitely need better lighting for night riding.

Come on over after 10 tomorrow and you can take all the pics you like! ::025:: ::025:: ::025:: The install occurs after my morning workout and coffee and shower. Show up at the right time and you'll get coffee. Show up at the wrong time and you are either working out with me or scrubbing my back!! ::013:: ::013::

Upon looking around after installing my Yamaha Fog kit, i stumbled across these. They sure look exactly like my fog light I have from Yamaha, only these are LED. Hmm interesting!!! They are the PIAA 530 LED!!

I don't know how the light works just yet. All I have done is verified that they work (turn on) as advertised. I still have the bike semi naked as my new GPS arrives tomorrow so I left the right side exposed so I could hook in the power to my fuse block. I work tomorrow and Saturday so I'll see after I get home Sunday and button everything up.

Tomatocity came by and I know he took some pics. Maybe he can get them posted up so you can see how the fitment looks. IMO, they really compliment the bike and fill in the gap below the headlights beautifully. ::008::

Thanks for posting... I have been very pleased with the headlights on the S10 but actually miss the added daytime sparkle of added lights. I ordered http://www.catoctinoffroad.com/recon-264500bk-led-driving-utility-lights-oval-black?___store=en_cor&___store=en_cor and hopefully will them soon. I miss the alternator of the GSA... but am loving the S10.

HI folks, my first ever post on here. I removed a set of the OEM PIAA's as I just did not like the position or the light spread. I have replaced them with Touratech Fog's and they look amazing and work far better. Don't mean to offend just my oppinion.

Mind I have also removed loads of OEM kit from Mr.T (as I call my bike) but think I'd best post an update somewhere on the forum, just need to have a look around.

Great Forum Guys, ::015::

I received a message the other day that Piaa is working on a kit specific to the Tenere using the new 530 LED light PIAA recently introduced.

Just a heads up on the Yamaha OEM foglight kit. I recently took a rock to the lens of one of them and put a hole in it. Yamaha informed me that Yamaha nor PIAA has replacement lens for sale. The only option is to purchase a new unit [PIAA option #23P-85450-00-00 $249.00].

I would recommend that anyone that has these mounted on their Tenere put some clear flim protector over the lens.

Cheers,

Well since I started this thread way back I figured an update on what I actually ended up doing was in order. I gave up on trying to buy the oem lights. I tried to go through yamabits in the uk but that did not go so well. After along wait I was authorized finally with an account to their site. That was unacceptable to me so I purchased the Denali D2's from Twisted Throttle and the ease of install and compact size was all worth it in the end.
