After nuch "faffing" about I think I am now ready to let go of my Multi 1200 and hop aboard the Tenere train. Too much research, too much lurking, too many ifs buts etc.

I'M READY ::015::

Oh...Hi all!

Brian from the UK and hopefully the owner of a new White Worldcrosser very soon.

its a fantastic bike no doubt about that. i've had it two and a half faultless (nearly) years and enjoyed it. My better half likes the ride but cant see when Im about to open the throttle so tends to get her neck whipped back and bounce off my helmet more often than not. I'm going through helmets quicker than tyres!

Ducati are a nightmare company to deal with also and I have just managed to get a years warranty sorted after paying for it 11 months ago. Time for a change.

Welcome to the Club! The Tenere should give you plenty of worry free miles to enjoy.

Welcome.

I think the Mrs will love the Super Tenere, mine prefered it to the GS I had before and above the Stelvio we also tested.

I reckon its well worth spending a few quid on the suspension for two-up use (makes solo better too) and maybe a flash to get back a bit of the MTS grunt your gonna be giving up, but what you gain is a great do-it-all and at-any-time kind of bike.

I go out in most weathers (this weeks snow halted proceedings) and have a solo and two-up Euro trip in the pipeline for this summer, and more importantly (especially after the GS) don't care about clocking up the miles, how much the next service will cost, and will it break down on my next holiday - overall a really good

::021::

kind of bike, with the potential to go and stop plenty well enough for 99.9% of riders.
