Don't know; my bike only has 100,000 miles. For what it's worth, I had the OEM CCT replaced at 84,000 miles, with the most recent version. There wasn't anything wrong with the one I had, I just had it done as preemptive maintenance. I didn't replace the cam chain.

Thanks for the link, looks like it got a cam chain at 110k. I'm at 150k and have a new chain on hand, was going to install it last valve adjustment but all the clearances were in spec so left it alone. Steve's stator failed at 175k, and I read a post a while ago of one failing at much lower mileage, maybe I should grab one soon?Super Tenere Review, 8 years, 200,000 miles in the making
I wanted to make this thread in August when my Tenere hit 200,000 miles then two days later turned eight years old, But it was still riding weather....
IIRC, there was a wait for that stator. But Jaxon had a used one on hand. "I" would order it now to prevent the downtime wait.
