Good to be a part of the forum, have a grey 13',
Stock, about to order a H&B plate for the belly and find somebody in Cal to hook up one of those fast leads for a batt.tender/compressor set up....
Have had the bike up to 120 mph and average 70-90 mph on the freeway, vibes are resonable and flatten smooth out when I'm down around 65-70,seat was garbage, had seat concepts put a dense pad and gripper cover on the bike for self and wife, here in so cal for 250 O.T.D.
Up to 6500 miles from 400,"demo bike" B&B cycles,Victorville,ca.....20 miles from the house,...paid 14.
Torrance EXP tires, still on....quarter inch tread depth down the center left.
4th oil change....10/40 weight.
2nd rear diff. Hypoid oil change 85/140 weight.
Happy trails rack and black Denali panniers.
Re drilled the holes, they were crooked, potential buyers,I recommend them ordered without holes predrilled,do it yourself, also .,get some lengths of 3/16th stock steel strips, cut and drill to size and put your bolts thru them on the interior of the boxes,..beefs it up real good.
Went for a ride with some Tenere owners back some time ago in Vegas..,hit back roads and the guys wife drove a black Humvee.
Haven't heard from or Tried, to contact any of em' since....tailed one of the guys on that trip and he really knew how to blast that thing thru the dirt!
That's it for now.
