Howdy from Los Angeles

Hello all! I joined this forum last year when I got my Tenere but have mostly lurked around and on AdvRider. I thought it was time I said howdy.

I am a wookiee of a man from SoCal (6'7 and Bearded ) I've been riding motorcycles for the last 9 years, since I was 17. I owned a Suzuki Boulevard C90 for most of that time, but have put a few thousand miles on an 08 Kawi Concours14 and an FJR as well.

This all started when I saw Long Way Down and Long Way Round (feel free to groan if you must, but I really enjoyed it.) It opened my eyes to a kind of motorcycle travel I never thought was possible. A year later I picked up my very own Tenere and have gone from a lover of motorcycles to a man with a serious addiction

I put 13,000m on my motorcycle in the last year, which is less than i had expected because of how busy I was. But I have been having a blast and am never looking back. I discovered something amazing, and found the best bike in the world for me to start my adventures with it. Glad to join everyone else on this board who share the same passion and ride this awesome machine.

I'm 6'4" and the Tenere is finally a bike my size....

I'm in Calabsas... we should get together....

Hear hear! I always hear people complain that the S10 is too big for them. Frankly, I don't care. Most motorcycles are too small for eveyone over 6'!

I live in Moorpark to be specific. I'd be more than happy to go riding! PM Me!
