Turning 50 , but have admired the ST at least for the past 6 or so years. Although there are many bikes I would love to have in my garage I always said if there is only one bike I can own which will satisfy all my riding needs its the Super Tenere.

Previous bike was a Yamaha TDM900 and got the impression most of the owners on the forum were getting on a little... Never asked the question there, so I'll do it here. ??? Wondering what sort of age group are attracted to our awesome S10. It's a big bike and can cost a few quid (£/$), which might keep more of the 'kids' away? Interesting to get a feel for who the bike attracts. 8) I'm 43 to start... ;D What's your age? ::017::

You must be one of the youngest S10 rider around, is there anyone younger that posted on this thread yet? Its nice to see because i was starting to think its an old mans bike. LOL
Most bikes are old mans bikes as so few youngsters are riding these days. Sorry to say it, but biking will all but die in the next 20years.

I started riding when I was 19 on the road, got my permit then took a riding course to get my license. After my 20th birthday I bought my first bike (2003 Buell XB9R), crashed that a couple months later. Then a month after roughly bought my second bike (2009 Buell 1125CR). 3rd was my first Yamaha (2015 FZ-07), 4th a 2015 Honda Grom (was rear-ended on that by a texting driver and in the hospital for 4 months). Since that happened I really started riding as up to that point I've ridden a total of about 31,000 miles from 2011 to 2016. First bike after the wreck was my last one (2017 Yamaha FZ-07) and put 28,600 miles on it over 2 years of ownership. Then traded it in for my Ténéré where I'm about 400 miles shy of what I did on my FZ-07. Total roughly since 2011 is about 76,000 miles between my 6 bikes and my mom's Buell Blast that I've ridden a bunch.
