WOW looks like we are a group of "old men" (mountain maker, and maybe a few others, is the exception)
I'm 52, been riding bike since...hmmm...well...startet on my fathers bikes when I was about 12, he always had a couple he was working on. Shortly after motocross on the local track.
And as soon as I was 18, my first bike (and car) on the road (legally ;) ). And there I stopped the motocross part.

You are only as old as you feel. In my case that makes me 34 years old. However I am premature gray and premature balding though. Lol that's my answer and I'm sticking to it.

Never slow down..never grow old.

I turn 58 this September, I will also be retiring then. It is going to be a great year for riding next year without work getting in the way. ::008::

63, but I feel like a thirtysomething. I still prefer riding in the forest. No signs of slowing down, except I do avoid the most technical/difficult stuff these days. Broken bones are no fun for old men.

I tried Goldwings and FJR's, but the tarmac is sooooo boring I couldn't even keep those out of the woods.

Looks like we have a Super Tenere Geezer Club.

48 End of June.
But........
I only got my first bike mid 2015, so i still consider myself a young rider.
Rode a BMW Sertao for 2015/2016, picked up the Tenere and ditched the Sertao April 2017.
When i was researching the BMW, i never expected to really drive that far from my house, so it seemed perfect, but even in first year of riding i made a few trips to Vermont from central CT, and realized maybe bigger was better for me.
I love sticking to the dirt routes, and hope to explore the West someday.

What’s a BMW Sertao?

Yes, the 650 thumper. Pretty much the updated version of the F650GS Dakar they had. Which is the bike i always wanted, but found a deal on a brand new Sertao that was too good to pass up

I’ll be 61 this coming Friday..... ::003::

I’d rather be old and say DAMN THAT WAS FUN instead of old and saying I WISH I WOULD HAVE!
