It is the first time I have had a bike when I come back with a pleased grin after each ride. I find it hard to describe but it just seems to do things without needing you to give too much.

It's like when I was young and used to "jam" with people. Sometimes the music just flowed and everyone just worked really well together. That's sort of what it is like.

Pity I haven't done that in so long I can't do it anymore. I still remember the feeling though ;D

I understand where your coming from GrahamD. I love this bike I can ride in weather I never would of taken my Harley or GSX-R out in. Been riding in crap weather and staying warm, listing to tunes through the GPS, and loving it. Sold the Harley to buy the S10, and not the slightest regret. Was keeping the GSX-R but after 2 weeks of only riding the S10 I sat on the GSX-R again and sold it instanly. Iam traveling and seeing places I never would of gone to if I didnt buy the S10..... Hence Lifes awesome ::012::

Feel the same way... Ive told friends, family & customers, if I had to get rid of all the bikes this is the only one I would keep... Its gotta be probably the #1 'most fun' and usable bike I have ever ridden and owned!!! I absolutely love this bike... ::26::

100% agree. It would be intresting to see how its changed other forum users lives. Ive always loved and enjoyed bikes, but never though a bike could change your life or make you enjoy it more.

::026::Even though it doesn't have the comfort of my Gold Wing or the speed of my FZ, it's just an all round fun bike and the one I'd keep if I had to choose just one.

I love it enough that I sold my other bikes and am now down to just one, for the first time in ten years.

I love it like my Swiss Army Knife (Victor).

yes its heavy, but well it you can carve write haul go fishing etc. with it...

An S10 is as versatile as a Swiss Champ, so lets call it the Japanese Champ :)

I drug out my ST1300 that I had not ridden since last August today to try to use up the old gas. Damn I had forgotten how heavy it is and how much lighter the steering is on the Tenere. As much as I loved the ST13, the Tenere is a much better choice for me. Thanks again Yamaha for taking a chance oimporting it, it is an awesome machine!

My Suzuki DL1000 changed my life. Went from street riding 1K miles a year to 18K last year. Didn't think anything would get me off my beloved Vee. Sold it when I got the S10. Never missed it for a minute. The S10 trounces the Vee in almost every way. Could not be happier.

+1. The reason I went to the Vee in the first place was basically because I was missing that "general purpose" feel that motorcycling used to be about for me.

The S10 is just so good at that. Very happy camper.
