I was thinking of a camp and ride down at Eminence, Missouri.
There is a great campground at Alley Springs. https://www.nps.gov/ozar/planyourvisit/alley-spring-campground.htm
I think it was about $9.00 for seniors and has GREAT showers. [that was in the winter]
The riding in the area is just fantastic , on or off pavement.
I'll see how this goes but maybe in September after the heat.

Lots of off roading and water crossings just east of Eminence.


Just right out of the Alley Springs campground is good creek crossings.

I have Dates.
I will be there Wednesday evening Sept. 21 through Sunday night Sept.25.

It really stressed me to pick dates, I just get up every morning and go ride, I don't have a calendar or set any dates.
For me to set a date and make a commitment just goes against my way of life.
But I will really try to be there.

When entering the campground there will be a nice new shower house on the right, I'll try to be off in that area. I can't remember if that area has electricity but if you need full hookups there is a loop further down on the left.

Our plans changed. We were planning to overnight in a Walmart parking lot around St Louis on the way home to Des Moines on Tuesday 20th.

So now we will be at Alley Spring campground site 413 leaving on Sunday the 25th. I should be able to provide internet to Tenere folks and some phone charging. The site is not electric so depending on my battery bank there will be some available.

Steve unless the generator is running the outside outlets will not have coffee pot power, but we will come up with something to caffeinate you!!

Anybody planning hard road runs let me know. I love following good riders!!

Dang Steve, I'm not sure how I missed this. You had to have been reading my mind when you posted this up a couple weeks ago. It was about three weeks ago I stayed up till nearly 3 AM looking through 31 pages and 611 posts and pictures reminiscing about the 2021 Black Hills Rendezvous. I was awfully disappointed pursing through the form unsuccessfully looking for some kind of meet up or rally to get together with all the Tenere friends I met last summer.

I just found this get together tonight and the timing just might work for me. I'll have just returned from a two week ride out to Oregon on the 9th so it will take a little fast talking with the wife but I might just be in for a meet up in Missouri. Giving this some heavy thought!

If you are coming from the Texas area, don't miss the free ferry over Bull Shoals lake on highway 125.
125 is one of Missouri's all time great roads. Be sure to ride it all the way up to Chadwick.
